2015 Kickoff Ride!

It’s time to kick off the new year and the 2015 road racing season with a social group ride! We’ll meet at 9am at Portland Bicycle Studio for coffee, socializing and to talk about the ride plans. We’ll roll at 9:30am on a no-drop ride to work on group riding skills.

Plan for a 2-3hr ride, and dress to stay warm and dry. Bring your bike, a helmet, a flat kit and a smile!

All ladies are welcome!

Winter Riding Skills Clinic, Dec. 13

Hey Ladies! Are you interested in bike riding in the wintertime and want to be sure to maximize your fun (and be safe) while slogging through unpredictable weather?

WHEN
We are putting on a winter riding clinic Saturday, December 13th beginning at 9am. There will be snacks, coffee, talking, and bike riding!

WHERE
Ruckus Composites, 87 SE Stark St. Portland, OR

If that’s not enough to get you outta bed, we’re also giving away some prizes from PDW, Velocio, and a few Pay Attention Tees. Big thanks to Ruckus Composites for hosting and continuing to be top-notch supporters of women on bikes!

If you plan to ride, please bring warm clothes, a working bike (preferably with fenders), and a helmet. Tell all your friends!

RSVP on our Facebook event page and see who else is coming!

Monday Night Winter Rides

What better way to ride in the winter than with friends? Join us on Monday nights starting December 8 for a short, no-drop ride.

Where do we meet?

  • 5:40pm at the start of the Springwater Trail at SE 4th & Ivon, then we’ll ride to Endurance PDX.
  • 6pm meet at Endurance PDX (on SE Ochoco in Sellwood), where you’re welcome to park if you didn’t start from Portland.

Who should join?
Any women who want to have an evening ride, even if it’s cold and rainy!

What’s the route?
We’ll ride to Sellwood, up through Riverview Cemetery, then take Terwilliger back toward downtown Portland. It’s a friendly 15-ish mile loop with a little climbing that should take about an hour.

What should I bring?
Bright lights, a helmet, fenders, flat repair tools, and friends!
